Moto G9 Forest Green

Motorola, owned by tech giant Lenovo has launched its Moto G9 smartphone in the Budget segment in India. Moto G9 has triple rear camera setup, 48-mp primary camera, 20W fast charging and 6.5 inch display. Like Moto G8, the company has given Water Repellent design in it. In the Indian market, Moto G9 competes with smartphones like Samsung Galaxy M21, Redmi Note 9 Pro and Realme 6i. Before the new model, the company introduced the Moto G8 of the series in Brazil only about four months. However, this smartphone was not launched in India.

Moto G9 Specifications and Features

The Dual-SIM Moto G9 handset works on Android 10. It has a 6.5-inch HD+ Max Vision TFT display. The aspect ratio of the screen is 20:9. The Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor has been used in this phone. The phone comes with triple rear camera setup for photos and videos. A 48-mp camera is used in the primary sensor. Its aperture is F/1.7. This sensor is based on Quad Pixel technology. The 2-mp Depth Sensor in the phone and the 2-mp Macro Lens are part of this camera setup. On the front, the 8-mp camera for selfie is equipped with F/2.2 aperture. The Moto G9 includes features like Auto Smile Capture, HDR, Manual Mode, Face Beauty and RAW Photo Output.

Connectivity options on the Moto G9 include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 4G, VoLTE, GPS, A-GPS, FM Radio, USB Type-C and 3.5mm headphone jack. Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity Sensor, Ambient Light and Abstract Sensor are given in this phone. There is also a Fingerprint Scanner on the back of the phone. In terms of RAM and Storage, Moto G9 only comes with 4GB+64GB variant option.

Apart from this, the battery in the Moto G9 has been given to 5,000mAh. It also supports 20W fast charging. The company claims that a single charge gives two days of battery life. In terms of dimensions, the size of the smartphone is 165.21*75.73*9.18mm and its weight is 200 grams.

Moto G9 Price in India and Availability Details

The price of the Moto G9 handset is priced at Rs 11,499 in the Indian market. This price has been given only 4GB+64GB storage variant. The Moto G9 comes with Forest Green and Sapphire Blue colours. This smartphone will be made available for purchase from the Walmart-owned Flipkart e-commerce website. Apart from this, the first sale of Moto G9 will be held on August 31 at 12 noon.
