The new Mi TV Stick looks very much like the Amazon Fire TV Stick in terms of design. It comes in black colour variant and the same black colour option has been given in the remote control of Mi TV Stick.
This portable device from Xiaomi comes with a quad-core CPU, and for the duet it has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of Internal Storage. It runs on the Mi TV Stick Android TV oprating system, with no Mi TV Patchwall provided. Apart from this, Mi TV Stick also supports Dolby audio and DTS sound format.
In this, you get Full-HD (1,080*1,920 pixels) resolution. The portable streaming stick comes with pre-installed Netflix and Amazon Prime Video apps, which can be accessed directly by pressing the dedicated button on the Mi TV Stick remote.
Mi TV Stick is based on Android 9. It supports connectivity options such as WI-FI 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth version 4.2. This smart device has a Micro USB port. It will be able to connect to the TV via HDMI port. The dimensions of Mi TV Stick are 92.4*30.2*15.2mm and its weight is 28.5 grams.
In addition, a dedicated button is provided to the Google Assistant on remote control for voice commands. The new Mi TV Stick comes with Buit-in Chromecast. The price of Mi TV Stick in India has been kept at Rs 2,799. Its first sale will be held on August 7 at 12 noon at Flipkart. The device will be available for purchase at mi.com, Flipkart, Mi Home Stores and Mi Partner Stores. This Mi TV Stick only comes with standard black colour.
On the other hand, customers can buy Amazon Fire TV Stick, which collided with Mi TV Stick, for Rs 3,999. While Xiaomi's own Mi Box 4K was priced at Rs 3,499.
