Dell XPS 17 Premium Laptop

Tech giant American company Dell has launched its premium laptop named XPS 17 in India. The Dell XPS 17 comes with a carbon fiber keyboard deck and slim bezels around the display. Dell launched the XPS 14 and XPS 15 in the Indian market only last month and now the XPS 17 laptop has also joined the lineup. This laptop is with a precise colour display that serves creative purpose. It comes with NVIDIA GPU graphic card dedicated to gaming.

Dell XPS 17 runs with Windows 10 Home pre-installed by Microsoft. This laptop has a 17.0-inch Full-HD+ (1,920*1,200 pixel) infinity adjustable glare display, which includes 16:10 Aspect Ratio and a peak brightness of 500 nits. This option is also available for Ultra HD (3,840*2,160 pixel) display. The Dell XPS 17 has a 10-genration Intel Core i7-10750H CPU dedicated to it, NVIDIA GeForce GTS 1650 Ti and DDR 4 RAM up to 32GB. Also the storage option includes 1TB PCLe SSD. The laptop has two 2.5W stereo woofers and two 1.5W stereo tweeters for audio. In terms of backup, the laptop includes a 97Wh battery.

The Dell XPS 17 uses a built in lid cover sensor that allows the laptop to automatically provide power when the lid is opened. The keyboard deck is made of carbon fiber material, which proves helpful in reducing weight. The backlit keyboard is designed above the large touchpad in such a way that gesture support is comfortable. Also, XPS 17 includes support for Windows Hello Facial Recognition for easy login.

Apart from this, the Dell XPS 17 connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 (2*2), 3.5mm headphone/microphone combo jack, 4 thunderbolt 3 port, a full-size SD card reader and Bluetooth 5.1. Regarding the dimensions, the Dell XPS 17 has 248.05*374.45*19.5mm and weighs 2.1kg.

The initial price of Dell XPS 17 laptop in India is at RS 1,79,700 and its base model is priced at Rs 2,09,500. This model comes with a 10th generation Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB RAM, 1TB Storage and a full-size display. Dell says that the XPS 17 laptop can be purchased in India through Amazon, Dell India website and Dell Exclusive Stores.
